These Terms of Service govern your use of www.tadpolepicks.com (“Tadpole Picks”), run by Tadpole Tales LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or signing up for our emails, you agree to these terms.

What we offer

Tadpole Picks publishes free content for parents and grandparents of little kids: Tadpole Picks lists, single-product Tadpole Reviews, kids’ product recall alerts, and guides. We also send the Tadpole Post, a free email newsletter, and run a monthly giveaway for subscribers under its own official rules. We don’t sell products on this site.

Information, not professional advice

Our content is general information to help you research and decide. It isn’t medical, safety, or legal advice, and it doesn’t replace the manufacturer’s instructions, age and weight limits, or warnings, or the advice of your child’s pediatrician. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidance for any product you use with a child.

Accuracy, prices, and recalls

We work to keep our content accurate and dated, but products change. Prices, availability, features, and ratings can change after we publish, and retailers set their own prices. Our recall coverage is a summary of public notices from agencies such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. It may not include every recall, and the official notice and the manufacturer are the final word. Check the official notice before acting on a recall.

Some links on Tadpole Picks are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we pick or how we rate it. Your account and emails

If you create an account, keep your login details private and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You can unsubscribe from the Tadpole Post from any email, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Our content

The writing, ratings, photos we took or licensed, graphics, and design on Tadpole Picks belong to us or our licensors. You’re welcome to read, share links to, and quote short excerpts with a link back. Please don’t copy or republish whole articles or lists, or use our content commercially, without asking us first. Product names, logos, and images belong to their owners.

Acceptable use

Please don’t use the site to send spam, interfere with how it works, scrape it in bulk, or get around our giveaway rules or spam protection. We may suspend accounts or subscriptions that break these terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t make or sell the products we write about and aren’t responsible for them; any product warranty comes from its manufacturer or seller. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll revise the date at the top and, for material changes, notify subscribers by email or post a notice on the site. Continuing to use Tadpole Picks after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
